Setting up a proper debate usually means writing a motion, deciding who argues for and against, and keeping track of prep time — this tool does all three in one go. It generates an age-appropriate motion, randomly assigns students to the for or against side so nobody just picks the easy argument, and starts a timer for them to prepare their points. That randomness is the key: arguing a position you don't personally hold is what actually builds critical thinking and language for hedging, conceding and persuading.
