About this tool
Sometimes the simplest speaking format is the most effective: one student gets a word, describes it without naming it, and the class races to guess what they mean. This generator keeps the prompts coming — a mix of people, places and objects — so you can run round after round without repeating yourself. It's a natural fit for practicing descriptive language, adjectives and definitions, since students have to explain a thing using everything except its name. Use it as a warm-up to activate vocabulary from a previous unit, or let it run as a standing game whenever you've got five spare minutes at the end of class.
