Grammar Transformation Tool hands students a starting sentence and a target to rewrite it into, whether that's a different tense, the passive voice, or a negative form, then lets them check their own work once they've tried. It suits the stage right after a structure has been taught, when students need to prove they can manipulate a sentence with it and not just recognize it on a page. Assign one transformation per student, have them write their answer, then reveal the correct version together. Because checking is built in, it works as well for independent practice as it does for whole-class review.
