In any open discussion, a handful of students tend to do most of the talking. Talk Tokens fixes that by giving every student a set number of tokens at the start of class, and each time they speak, they spend one. Once a student is out of tokens, they know it's time to listen for a while and let someone else take the floor. It's especially useful for debate days, Socratic seminars, or any lesson where you want quieter students to get real airtime. Set the token count before class and let students manage their own turns.
